School Closure Update

On March 12th, 2020, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine ordered that all K-12 grade schools close for a period of several weeks.

The Autism Model School, in compliance with this order, has decided to close school beginning Monday, March 16th through Friday, April 3rd.

At that time, the school will then be on a pre-scheduled spring break from Saturday, April 4th through Monday, April 13th.

As of this writing (Friday, March 13th, 2020), the school will re-open Tuesday, April 14th. [This is subject to change due to any future orders from the state of Ohio.]

UPDATE: March 2020 Board Meeting

The March, 2020 Autism Model School board meeting will take place Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 5:30pm. The location has changed due to new guidance from the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.

Based on the information regarding the applicability of Ohio’s Open Meetings Act released this weekend, it is now permissible for local public bodies to use electronic means to meet and comply with the law during this extraordinary time. The Autism Model School Board will meet electronically, through the Zoom application, using the following meeting information:
