School Board & Policies

Our school was founded by a group of parents of children with autism. This legacy continues through our Board of Directors.

A significant majority of members have a child with special needs and nearly half are parents of a current or former Autism Model School student.

We’re grateful for the combined wisdom, compassion, and leadership of these community leaders.

Board Meetings

Board Meetings are open to the public and, unless otherwise noted, begin at 5:30pm. They are held at the following location: Mark Greenblatt’s Office at 7150 W. Central Ave., Toledo OH 43617, Suite 100

If there is a location change, the public will be notified by way of a posting to the school’s website.

School Policies & Procedures

The Autism Model School’s polices and procedures are in place to help further the school’s mission of providing students with a high quality education in a caring environment–where everyone belongs!

All policies are available online through the BoardDocs platform. To access policies please do the following:

  1. Visit this link to the Autism Model School BoardDocs portal
  2. Click the Enter Public Site link located below the AMS logo
  3. Click the Policies tab located on the top right of the menu bar
  4. Select a group of policies from the dropdown menu (e.g. Administrative Handbook, Parent/Student Handbook)
  5. To view a specific policy, click one of the numbered section tabs (e.g. 1.0 School and Classroom Operations) & select a policy (e.g. 1.1 Hours of Operations for Students)
