Our approach to student learning can be summed up in one word. Individualized.
After all, every child is unique. With their own set of strengths, needs, and hopes for the future.
The goal of our programming is simple. To support each student’s pursuit of a meaningful and happy life.
For youth with autism, there are many challenges along the way. But we view these as opportunities to respond with compassion, collaboration, and innovation.
Here are a few ways we do this:
- small classrooms – having six or fewer students in each classroom lets teachers give loads of one-on-one attention
- individualized learning plans – using student and parent input, a child’s educational team creates a detailed plan for which skills will be worked on and how success will be measured
- quality programs – we place a high value on using interventions that are backed by decades of research studies and our approach is rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis
- staff training – teachers and paraprofessionals get ongoing training from members of our clinical management team
Our programs usually fall into one of four categories:
- Academics 📚
- Life Skills 🗣️
- Transition Planning 🎓
- Job Training 🛠️
But the magic is in the details!

*No list of educational programs and approaches is intended to be completely comprehensive. Staff at the school work collaboratively, and with input from parents and other professionals, to ensure that each student has a plan tailored to address their most significant needs.
