IDAPT

IDAPT (U.S. patent pending) is a customizable web-based curriculum and personalized support software designed for people with a range of developmental disabilities and those that serve them.

This visual technology allows service providers to break targeted tasks into individual steps, displayed one-at-a-time on a tablet or mobile device.

Each step within an activity can include a picture, video, audio, and textual cue. These elements support independent participation in everyday tasks.

IDAPT also allows service providers to seamlessly track, quantify, and report on their client’s performance. Digital data collection leads to instantaneous analysis and progress reporting.

Developed by a team of educators working at the Autism Model School, IDAPT is packed with one-of-a-kind features for building independence, including:

  • tools to support independent problem-solving when unexpected scenarios arise
  • looping capabilities to allow for programming tasks that include a series of repeatable steps
  • individual user overrides to quickly customize a task for a particular user
