State Testing at Autism Model School Begins Tuesday, February 2, 2021

Standardized testing is required by federal and state law to ensure that schools are providing the high-quality education we want for all students across the country. This requirement has not been altered by the unusual circumstances of the past 10 months. Autism Model School will begin in-person testing for the Alternate Assessment for Students with Cognitive Disabilities (AASCD) on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 and continue testing through the end of the AASCD window on Friday, March 19, 2021. Over the course of the 6.5 week testing window, we will work to provide a safe and effective testing environment for our students. A letter regarding the required AASCD state testing and the Autism Model School safety protocols is available here and will be sent home to those students scheduled to take the tests starting next month.
